Lily Burke has led an impressive career as a content and marketing professional.
Academically, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in three years at West Chester University with Summa Cum Laude honors. Burke studied Media and Culture with a concentration in media production, and minored in journalism. Burke earned WCU’s Academic Excellence Scholarship upon entering WCU, and was placed on the Dean’s List every semester at WCU. She participated in the Media in Ireland program in the summer of 2024. This experience deepened Burke’s global and cultural understanding of the impact of media. Throughout her academic career, she participated in all campus media organizations and earned the roles of Sports Director and Training Director at the campus radio station, WCUR.
She worked as an intern at WMMR for the Preston and Steve show. There, Burke assisted with the show’s live production, social events, content workflows, and documentation. During this experience, she learned to love media production by engaging with team members to put together the show each day.
Professionally, Burke works for Judi Health as a Marketing Associate. In this position, she supports marketing operations, maintains content calendars, supports production efforts, and collaborates with marketing, product, and analytics teams to update collateral. This role has expanded her skill set and strengthened her ability to work across marketing and media production environments.
Additionally, Burke currently works as a part-time Production Assistant for iHeart Media in the Atlantic City market. She operates sound boards and monitors live programming for technical quality and FCC compliance. She contributes to audio production and automation updates, as well as manages live broadcast elements.
Outside of work, Burke loves yoga. Recently, she has been working to achieve her certification to teach yoga. Additionally, Burke is an advocate for female representation in sports media. She values continuous learning and is particularly interested in the human condition, current events, scientific developments, and animal behavior. She also enjoys cooking, listening to rock and roll music, and has a long-standing love for rabbits.
